Update on yesterday not feeling well

Hi all,thanks for all yr replies, spoke to dr today , she thinks it could be Aurora migraine so to take pain killers as she doesn't want to give me migraine tablets unless it get to much to bear cause of pred, so today has been parcetmol, dark rooms, wheat bags, sleeping and lots of water. Also rubbing vicks on temples and forehead, but forgot to ask her if it gets really bad could I take naproxen?anyone know?I think I read somewhere I could but not regular basis cause of stomoch. I take omprezole and peptac for heartburn

Why won't she give you migraine medication with pred? There are no listed contraindications. She's obviously never had a migraine herself has she!

Rheumatologists do use naproxen with pred - it should be OK if you are on omeprazole but you obviously do have gastric problems anyway so I wouldn't use it a lot.
