As I trudged through heavy mud (yet again) with the dogs this morning the sun had that extra bit of warmth that hints at spring round the corner. Soo want to get into the garden as it has been too wet since November and we are supposed to be the driest place in the country. The birdsong suddenly has purpose and the thrushes are piping up now.
It's a real nature world out there mate you enjoy it. Many others don't see it!
Hope you’re doing OK PD 🌿🪴🌼
Spring is just around the corner, l heard the Blackbird signing this morning (as he is now) so that’s very promising.
Any News on your Vaccine yet?
MrsN
Interesting Tale I have Mrs N on how it seems to work! Say No More eh!
Yes MrsN a week ago Pfizer one. Bit of arm soreness next day but no problems & well organised.
OH hadn't heard by Thurs & neighbours around us over 70's already done!
Rang docs & lo & behold appointment next day!! She has a different docs to me but we share the same local hub!
The birdies have been a joy to watch for the last year of shielding. Roll on Spring. ATB

Are they bluebells in your lovely pic - sorry it's late and my eyes are getting tiredYesterday I walked in local woods and tiny baby bluebell plants were peeping out from the ground and also saw a bank of very brave Violets. Onwards and upwards......
Yes Bluebells in the Lickey Hills near us. Photo from a couple of years ago. I've been nowhere for a year with the shielding! Probably only just breaking through there now.
They look like bluebells to me. Can't wait, I've been so sick with pneumonia, PMR, severe neuropathy, and a handful of other autoimmune diseases. Spring a cure all?
Hope Spring is Joaclp. Don't we all need a lift with the endless bad news. Sorry to hear of your further medical add ons. ATB
Just Heavenly PD! Thank you! Is it near home?
Lickey Hills couple of years ago Jane. Always in my mind to get there when the lockdown & shielding is over. Touch wood eh!
Lovely pic. not at that stage yet here in the NW but definitely lighter in the mornings and evenings now. Lots of encouraging countryside sounds as well. As SnazzyD, wishing the weather would either improve enough to get rid of the mud or get back to frost thereby saving me having to wash the dogs everyday from the mud. Vaccine had and done two weeks ago, no reaction and looking forward to No. two at sometime or other.
Only seen this just now, so a bit late to the table, as they say! Whst a lovely, uplifting picture.
Just wanted to add that every day (if I'm well enough)I walk around the meadow and river outside my house, and have seen the changes each different season brings. There is clear evidence here that spring is on it's way! The old summer growth has died back over winter and new, fresh undergrowth is beginning to emerge again. The birdsong has changed, becoming more melodic and varied as breeding season approaches. The family of squirrels in the oak tree by my front door are very 'busy' foraging (and digging up my back lawn!!🤨) I have snowdrops in my garden and my daffodils and crocuses are beginning to push through the cold, damp soil. I didn't have to pull my curtains till ten past five last night, so things feel like they're beginning to improve with better days ahead. All good for lifting the spirits and mood when this unpleasant and sometimes debilitating disease starts to do it's worst.
Spring is coming everyone. 😃😃
