Hi.ive had a cold,but have a cough would this be connect with the cold.i am on 10 pred.been ok on that dose,got a phone call on tue from rheo.

That is the most likely cause of a cough if you already have a cold. Though of course at present - Covid is also something to bear in mind.

I have never had a cold without a cough, but do now occasionally have a dry cough with BP meds.

Just to make you aware that 3 of my work colleagues have tested covid positive in past week and their symptoms were a cold and mild cough! As PMRPro said though....most likely cause of cough is usually the common cold, but in the current pandemic situation, it may just be sensible to consider a covid-19 test?
