Kennel Cough Vaccine for Dogs

I have another question too. My dog has had a kennel cough vaccine since she was a pup as doggy day care etc insist on it. However as I'm on prednisolone, now down to 4.5mg, the vet said I could be imunosuppressed and it would be better not to give my dog the vaccine as it's a live vaccine and I could catch it! What is everyone else's experience with this?

I have to avoid the grandchildren when they have some of their Vaccinations & Inoculations - you’ll find that in there too.

Presumably you have been giving your dog the live vaccine while you were on a much higher dose of pred??

No I wasn't taking pred last year when she was vaccinated. I only started on pred in January this year

oh fair enough. You could always check with your GP.
