I hope you had a lovely Xmas, I had a lovely day went for a walk with my dogs. As I am self isolating I saw my daughters from a distance, received some amazing presents and one of me daughters brought round a huge Xmas dinner . Perfect day. Best wishes for the New Year, hope we will soon receive the vaccine and try and get back to some normality.

It’s funny, but a big crowded, expensive, exhausting Christmas can be a bit of a trap. I secretly rather loved our sedate Christmas dinner and the time to appreciate gifts, a tidy house and all the snoozes. We watched videos of our grandsons battling over the robots we had thoughtfully posted - noise and flashing lights, smiled and turned down the volume - perfect.
