Yes but only at lower doses of Pred. I have been thoroughly checked out for things like heart and lung problems and conclude it is some kind of inflammation in the airways. I'd mention it to your GP so they can do checks

Please get this checked out by your doctor. There are a myriad of possible causes. It may be nothing much but better safe than sorry.

It can be a side effect of prednisolone but many of us also suffer breathlessness due to the PMR itself and its effect on the muscles.
