Hi, I have never been able to figure out where I can see my comments or posts, or for that matter posts by others. Is it possible? Sometimes replies say poster xxxx wrote extensively about that, but I have no idea how to find posts by that roster.

At present, after a rheumy telephone consult today, I asked if I could be considered for injections of some kind of prednisone and I know there were posts here about it I have been referred to and links given me, but I cannot find them.. about methylprednisone injections down to 40MG I think? Also my liver enzymes went high after 3 weekly doses by mouth of methotrexate but only 5mg this time. I do not get nausea, but the t=rheumy wants me to stop. It could also be the Cresor sending the liver enzymes high as last time I stopped the methotrexate (after two doses of 7.5mg only), my liver enzymes were high but I could not get them back to normal until I stopped the Crestor. My cholesterol then went from 4.9 to 8,5 with a month or so, so I started again, and also started the methotrexate around the same time as I wanted the pain to fatigue to improve.

I need to email the rheumy the link I read on here and I suspect he is then going to email info on Acetmra (as he said something starting with Ro-a ..and that was all I could figure out he said).I said I hadn't hear of it, then later I am wondering as I see now it can have a Ro in front of the Acetmra? Can anyone point me to where I can read about navigation of these forums..and also can anyone help me find the link on taking prednisone by injection and reducing and there was someone PMTPro told me about who I read did it due to GORd type problems? Thanks I'd really like to email the rheumy this link but I'vve been looking for hours!

tangocharlie has written about the injections and also Admiral06

At the top of the page there is a PMRGCAuk banner below which you will see

Home........Posts........Members........About

Click on Members and type the name you are looking for in the box and you can see their profile page -

healthunlocked.com/user/tan...

where you can see all the posts and replies they have written in the past by selecting the appropriate option.

For your own posts and replies, click/tap your own name or avatar (the image by your name) and that will bring up your own profile page - with options to see your past posts and replies in the same way.

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

is the link for Prof Dasgupta's original study using depotmedrone injections.

There is no link I can give you for the person who used it because of GORD, it was a long time ago and may have been a different forum.

Just to add to PMRpro advice.

If you scroll down to the footer you will find the Help Centre under the heading Support....worth looking at if you have any issues.

There is a search facility on top right on screen - although not always reliable or useful as something may be said in the replies that interests you, but doesn’t necessarily relate to the post title.

If you read a post that interests you, you can save it - box under post. You get a notification of all replies to it....and to retrieve it tap the hone(house) icon - top left. New page - your profile on left hand side- saved posts there.

I assume your rheumatologist was referring to RoActemra (Tocilizumab). It is made by Roche, so I imagine the Ro stands for 'Roche'.
