Hello, here are a few questions to kick off - Any other symptoms at all? Is the rest of your gut ok? Are you still taking Methotrexate? Have you had any bloods done recently? Do you take any stomach meds? What dose of Pred are you on?

Oh, that's a lot! No to meth, 1 mcg pred, bowels irregular, bloods about month ago. No stomach meds now, since reduced dose . Seems to ease once I've eaten. Take levothyroxine hour before anything else.

Sorry more questions.

Why have you stopped stomach meds?

Has nausea started since you stopped them?

Are irregular bowels something new?

Dr said to stop as I am now on such a low dose, only 1 mcg daily. Nausea only got really bad in last few weeks, stopped meds months ago. Bowel issues prob about a month. Also have fibromyalgia.

Mmm,

Could it side effect Fibro medicines do you think previously calmed down by stomach meds.

You do need to get it checked, both can be indications of other issues.

Not on any fibromyalgia meds, just take paracetamol when pain gets bad and rest when fatigue gets me.

What stomach med? Omeprazole or another PPI?

Did you stop it slowly or just from one day to another?

Lanzoprazol I think. I stopped it gradually. What other things could it be?

Was wondering if it could be silent reflux. But you can't blame everything on PMR or pred - and it is new so needs looking at.

I had nausea from pred - had large bowl of porridge before took them
