Completed 14 day heart monitor. Little dizzy spells but no fainting while on it. Electrophysiologist said doesn't feel pacemaker is needed. Yippee! Said it's likely vasovagal response & I need to pay attention & more slowly get out of bed, or standing it is not dangerous. So happy that another dx not added. Still think this started around time I started Actemra. He said could be exacerbated from rx especially if I have tendency for this problem. Next appt is with spine specialist for multiple back issues. Want to see what they have to say but sure don't intend to do surgery. Hoping physical therapy will help. Dr also prescribed pain rx which has helped a lot. This of course needs to be used judiciously, but so nice to have relief from severe arm & back pain.. I'm at 7 mg prednisone for gca and I feel better now than I have for a long time. Hoping this continues. Thanks for listening to all my ups and downs. I definitely need to donate to this priceless charity, and thanks so much to all you caring, knowledgable volunteers. You've pulled me through so many painful times.
