Little glassy bumps on your legs?

I've been on pred for both PMR & GCA since October, 2019 and like everyone else here on the forum, have had my share of ups and downs, including my present dilemma.

Months ago, I copied a quote from someone here who said, "...watch for little glassy feeling bumps on your leg that just seem wrong when it heals over. CANCER IN MY CASE." I happened across it today and was stopped in my tracks because I have noticed that there are probably 20 or more of those little glassy feeling bumps on my lower legs. I am wondering if it is common for them to turn to cancer.

Have any of you had these?

I have an appointment with my rheumatologist soon and will point these out to her, but meantime, wanted your take on it.

As always, you are my best friends in this crazy bull ride! Thank you for being all that!

Personally, I would be calling my GP.

The Rheumy is probably not the right person unless they know an awful lot about skin. I’d be going to the GP for a possible dermatology appointment.

I've had similar below the knees. In my case it was Lymphoedema.

I now have it well controlled after being referred to Lymphoedema service who monitor & treat me

I now have same appearing above my knees.

Ask your Gp for a referral to your local Lymphoedema Service if you have other symptoms like fluid retension in legs/ swollen ankles or heaviness in legs.

All the best.
