I can’t find my posts so not sure what I shared so sorry for any repeats. Short version. Had cat scan showed active diverticulitis put me on IV and gave me augmentin. From 8 pm to 5 am I vomited the worst ever in my life. I had dry heaves toward the end. Back to ER which was once again empty. I was put on IV and rehydrated. Got new antibiotics 2 this time and went home feeling so nauseous and sick. 10 days on antibiotics 4 pills a day. Then I started taking probiotics which gave me severe diarrhea. What fun. THEN I got a bladder infection 2 days on antibiotics and told to stop as I needed a different antibiotic for this type of bladder infection. So now have a new 5 days to go. At end of 5 days still felt like I had bladder infection and doctor ordered a new UA which I never went in for. When she called she said...since you are still having diverticulitis pain the protocol is to admit you for IV antibiotics BUT She said she did not want to admit me. Fine with me I did not like the feel of an empty hospital it was too spooky. Oh we also got our white huge empty tent in the empty parking lot. There are no covid cases in our county .
So my rheumatologist had me go from 20 mgs prednisone to 15 mgs. I was given 150 mgs on my repeat cat scan due to having allergies on dye. The first cat scan no dye . I feel pretty good on the 15 mgs but we are not going to start actemra until I get settled down. I am so tired. 17 days of antibiotics really did me in...nausea the whole time. Just wondering what is next. 🙄🤪
