Havnt posted for ages, as my previous illnesses have continued to deteriorate plus more autoimmune have joined in !! I was saying.. corona. Last sat after being very for a week 111 was called .afterspeaking to doctors they said they would call me back. They didn’t . Within 5mins an ambulance was at my house, what a shock , after being examined they wanted to take me in to hospital which I politely declined ,as to my way of thinking they are soo busy I may not even of got the care I needed , ie my meds etc plus I had a respiratory infection, an don’t mind admitting AFRAID . .at present I am still at home fighting. The n h a have been brilliant calling me twice a day as I am on something called the corona pathway, I at home monitor blood sugars for diabetes, my i n r for my lupas aps syndrome etc ,b p , tenpreture . An together we are doing this , to you all PLEASE look after yourself, follow your instincts, don’t take chances, show your love to all by staying in. In my spirit I am going strong an positive, but health wise ..hmm
So I wish you all good luck an remember show your love , by showing your back to those you love , xx🐒

Hi scats, I remember that name 🐵thankyou for your kind words, yes I am strong , for I am woman lol but know my body !! There is so much I’d like to write but but I’d just want to warn everyone don’t count on a fever as a sign, with high temperature, a continuous low temp can also be a sign of infection, which I’ve now learnt ,/better late 🤔but you’re right scat , together, wishing you well x
Brave spirited Monkeymate, wishing you the very best of outcomes. The level of care you are being given is reassuring. So very sorry, thinking of you x
Hang on in there Monkeymate - we are all gunning for you! You sound like a strong character to me so keep the positive ness going! Any idea how you picked up the virus? Get well.
What a wise lady..............and a good decision, in my eyes, to stay in your own environment at present. Hopefully there will not be a time when that has to change.
I had bronchopneumonia a couple of years back and made the same decision.........for two reasons, one I am a carer and that would have meant sending a person, who has been in my life since the day I was born - a Cousin into a home. And for some odd reason, I kep on thinking East, West, Home is best.......
Whilst hospitals are absolutely essential and we owe a lot to a certain person and a day in 1948. Luckily only been in 4 times over many years.............I would still rather avoid them as far as humanly possible.
I admire you for posting and letting us know.
Thank you for a very special post and please stay as strong as you can.
I'm sorry to hear that you have got this, and glad that you are being looked after. Please do keep us informed about how you are getting on and what it is like to have this.
Thank you for posting. It is helpful to know what happens next. I hope you have the mild version and that it confers immunity on you thereafter. All possible bulletins will always be welcome. Get well soon! 🌸🍀🌸
Love you for that ,I’d send you some flowers but the shops are shut 😂 you’re so right as I am diabetic, steroid induced..an b sugars are all over the place , so thinking maybe a cream cake 🍰 as no one would know (o joy ) talk tomorrow x
I assume you have your blood testing kit and they have recommended to test yourself more regularly through the day than normal.
My OH is Type 1 , and from experience we know often your Blood Sugar can go much higher during an infection , even a cold or flu , sometimes it can do a sudden drop.
So regular checks during the day not just before meals is really important to know that you don't need to have a little snack or consider what you eat and drink more fluids if it is too high.
If it gets out of control do call them or let them know when they call you as they may need to give you additional help to use at home .
Extra Fluids are very important and keeping careful about dizzy spells , sudden sweating , or changes in your behaviour .
This is soo helpful as I was only diagnosed 2month ago , thankyou bleary eyed ,an yes I am armed with so many gadgets an monitors ,all that’s missing from my cupboard is a new body 😂😂😂an this is for you xx🍰🍰🍰
