Has anyone with PMR experienced flushing of the face? My cheeks will randomly get blood red!

Yes, I do and a spot of Rosacea on one side. I notice the red cheeks mostly when I get up to go for a pee in the night. I think it’s Pred, I can get hot too.
Yes, I get quite flushed cheeks and have developed lots of broken thread veins. It quote random when it happens.
Since being self-isolated I've noticed that my cheeks have not been so flushed, I think mainly because I just wash my face with water, no products or make-up (vanity!) Also stopped treating sun damage with Efudix as it made me feel a bit rough.
Yes, I looked permanently like a polished red apple for a while but it went as the dose reduced, especially below 10mg.
Oh yes...a lifetime of pallor replaced by Andy Pandy cheeks.

As long as you don’t turn into Little Weed...🤪

Facial redness is a common side effect of pred - and for some people it accompanies the hot flushes that are also very common. Unfortunately it means we look all farmer's wife healthy - so we can't be ill can we?
