Roses are Red , Violets are Blue , Here are some Rules to make life better for You!

With lots of Enduring Love , hugs, and germ free kisses for all my Faraway Friends Auntie Bee xxx

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS of SELF LOVE ( 99% guaranteed to ease the Pain)

1. Thou shalt become your Best Friend and not your Worst Enemy.

2. Thou Shalt stop being all things to all people.

3. Thou shalt learn to say , " No!" . If possible politely but sometimes in a big , shouty , ' Nooooo!' voice.

4. Thou shalt leave things undone that otherwise would have been done . Spiders are perfect companions if you take the time to get to know them!

5. Thou shalt not compare yourself to others and learn to celebrate being occasionally boring , untidy , inelegant , downright slovenly , wobbly , forgetful and all your other wonderfully Perfect Imperfections .

6. Thou shalt stop judging yourself , unless it is to give yourself First Prize for Surviving another Chronic Day.

7. Thou shalt learn to plan a little ' Me Time ' into every day , and stand up for your right to enjoy your own company ( with a club if necessary!) .

8. Thou shalt learn that Doing Nothing is an Art and not a Sin.

9. Thou shalt learn to throw all those creeping negative emotions in the Mood recycling Bin and repurpose them into positive feelings ( or a crochet pot holder ) instead.

10. Thou shalt learn to Belly Laugh instead of beating yourself up at least once a day for forgetting to follow all the good advice you are given , including these Ten Commandments!

Here ends the Commandments of Self Love according to Aunty Bee!

Love my spiders. They've just started subsistance farming in the windowsill dust, saves me having to feed them!

Living in the country I learnt very quickly that it was a lot easier making a pact with my spiders rather than trying to do a giddy dance with a newspaper around the house trying to catch the flies that would come in from the fields.

Not sure our Aussie cousins would agree though !!!

I love spiders and the bigger the better but my girls and eldests OH are scared and squeal loudly when they see the tiniest one!! Thinking of getting a snake as OH hates them and he might leave home!!xx

Younger daughter is too - and she was brought up in the country! Phoned me here once, standing on her bed, starkers and dripping, having found a spider under the shampoo bottle ... Really not sure what she thought I could do!

Yellowbluebell profile image
Yellowbluebellβ€’ in reply toPMRpro

Probably what my mother thought i could do from sussex when her cat jumped in through her bedroom window in her bungalow with a huge rat!! She stood screaming on her bed for ages before realising even after she rang me i was unlikely to go to yorkshire to remove the damn thing!!

Never get spiders in our house....we have floorboards, so they must live underneath. Previous house had concrete floors, had them all the time...…..

DIL, has dreadful phobia of them...OH just picks them up in his hand....so he has some uses!!

I've always loved spiders and they keep the fly population down too. Just wish they wouldn't s**t on our bedroom window though

I thought that was the flies, in your case probably as they die!

Have you noticed that their droppings are always white on dark surfaces and black on light surfaces? They are made to annoy.

Louisepenygraig profile image
Louisepenygraigβ€’ in reply toscats

May be it is the flies, I'd just assumed it was the spiders!

Blearyeyed profile image
Blearyeyedβ€’ in reply toLouisepenygraig

There seem to be a lot of misbehaved spiders on your side of the Bridge ! Hugs xx

Blearyeyed profile image
Blearyeyedβ€’ in reply toscats

What size are your spiders and flies that you can see their poops on your window sill??

I see the odd rolled up dry fly but I think they have just been kind and carefully packaged their rubbish for easy disposal.

scats profile image
scatsβ€’ in reply toBlearyeyed

HUGE! They have evolved gravity so flies are attracted to them!

We clearly share the same juvenile ways to entertain ourselves , jolly good xxx

My mantras all year round. After a while I have had fewer things offered to say no to. But that suits me!

Blearyeyed profile image
Blearyeyedβ€’ in reply to

I often have to say , " Nooo!" to myself these days more often than to others as most of my friends and family have learnt what they should expect from me far better than I have.

' No! ' has also got various phrases including , " Stop it!" , " Move away from the Seesaw " ,

" Have you learned nothing!!!" and my personal favourite , " Are you Mad!!!"

Love and hugs to you and your pooch xxx😘😍

β€’ in reply toBlearyeyed

πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ I remember those days. When my neices were younger we went to a zoo and there was a jumping hopscotch type thing which I was determined to do. The screams from all of us halfway through breached laws of noise pollution.

Mine to myself is a resigned no, meaning " you know you'd regret it if you did!"
