Thank you to everyone that replied to my post today, I have seen the doctor and it is a stress headache not GCA, so good news, she has lowered my pred to 12.5mg will see how that goes, but I still need to get to rheumatology quicker than January for a definite diagnosis.

I am glad you have spoken to your Dr, but the same advice applies. I think I was at the walk in a few times with blurry vision etc but I had no issue with doing that. 🌻

Try this:

1: Spread your fingers through your hair and tug gently - this helps to relieve the headache, remember every hair has a little muscle attached and the gentle tugging relieves the tension.

2: your first finger and thumb on each side of the bridge of your nose and gently circulate.

3: Two first fingers in line with the corner of your eyes and gently circulate.

Bit like Shiatsu.

If they don't work, a telephone call to your Rheumatologists Secretary is required.
