Should I still have flu jab tomorrow?

Have had really loose tummy since yesterday.... Feeling washed out! Should I still attend?...

Advice gratefully received...

I think it probably would be wise to check with surgery this afternoon if you can - they will probably say - reschedule.

Personally I would postpone it until you are better. You suffer enough.

BUT - if you do, reschedule and don't forget! The one year OH didn't get his flu jab he got flu, it turned to pneumonia (not obvious either so not caught quickly), he spent 3 weeks in bed and it took 6 months for his lung CTs to come back clear.

Just saying what CAN happen ...

Should have added, I have every sympathy for your OH.... My pneumonia knocked me into next year! I was 46....

Not something I would ever want again!!

I have rebooked for next Saturday.... OH has familial late onset Diabetes 2, so it’s a race to see who gets first jab😜 He won this year, had his two weeks ago...

I do have a chest history, pneumonia once and Bronchitis x 6....

I was a tad PLOM ( poor little old me🤣) yesterday... Adding insult, I was cleaning birdbath, lifted it to empty, and pulled something in shoulder, pain down to elbow.... 😲 Dosed up today.... ...

Having a friend for a week next weekend.... Just hoping flu jab doesn’t react and I have two working arms🤞 I will be very careful next week... Onwards .... Thanks again😊
