Just to ask if anyone has had any 1mg Pred from Co-phama, my latest batch with an exp 2023 are 50% crumbly when pressed out of the pack. I’ve not had any problems before & it may not be anything to worry about but I’ve had to increase my taper from 2 to 3 as I’ve been experiencing a flare. I’ve been stubborn thinking reducing as advised by my Rheumo was going OK! Id be off by December, no way now so I’m going to stay on the 3 for a couple of months now. I’ve had PMR diagnosed since May 18, had it at least 6 months before that.
Feel so much better going back to 3!
It’s great to report that the brain fog of 6-9 months ago which really got me down has now gone! I couldn’t even go on the motorway & preferred the long way around! I used to write a list everyday..
Happy days

Oh apologies all, should have added that I called the pharmacist & she said there had been no other complaints but I’d imagine policy would be not to divulge anything and they’d contact people if anything was wrong.
That relies on enough people making the effort to go and complain and the recipient of that complaint deciding that it warrants reporting or is prepared to make the connection. I think may problems with meds, quality and side effects, and vaccines fall at these first hurdles.
Bet they are fibbing. I was told that when I got a dodgy batch! Just tell them you want any brand but them ...
Does it help if you cut the soft side of the blister pack with the tip of a knife to get them out?
As for how long PMR will be your unwanted friend - your doctor seems to be in cloud cuckoo land - only a third of patients are off pred in 2 years. Never mind - you're here where we know better!
