Thanks for the advice, it’s working!

Just a quick note to say I listened to all the responses I got to my recent request for advice. I’m pleased to say that 3 days after upping my pred to 20mg I’m am definitely feeling better. I still have some pain but it’s a lot easier and I don’t feel so stiff. I think I’ll stay at 20mg for a week before starting to drop. Now should I do the DSNS method or drop to 15mg and then start the DSNS? I’m inclined to take the long road.

I really appreciated all the support received and although I don’t like to read that others are suffering it’s nice to know it’s not just me😀

That’s good to hear Griggser, thanks for getting back to us as it’s good to know advice has helped.

Wishing you good success with your taper whichever option you choose.

As for the taper back - try the 5mg and see what happens. If it works, then you well on the way down. You can always revise the approach.

You could drop by 2.5 instead of 5.
