Just a quick follow up.

I am now feeling almost normal. No episodes for several days.

Woke on a couple of mornings feeling anxious (so unlike me) which on Thursday took until early evening to pass. I was almost about to consider a split dose but by yesterday it was over by lunchtime.

I have felt that I am not quite at home, my house and our local town has felt a smidge alien. Our local supermarket added to that by moving the veg to another part of the store! I felt like a tourist! Several times I have sat in the garden reading which has helped to get me grounded.

Today it's way too hot @33C and will be around @37C tomorrow.

Have upped my Mg intake to 4x 400mg and believe it is helping.

Steroids remain at 8mg and I have a plan to take 7.5mg on Tuesday and will monitor the outcome.

It's not been nice. I am getting used to the feeling of adrenaline in my body and know that it will soon become history (the feeling not the adrenaline).

I am so glad that you are feeling better IdasMum and that you are bravely weathering the storm. Interesting about your local town feeling alien and your supermarket moving the veg to confuse you further. Waking up feeling anxious is horrible. It reminds me of when I still worked in a pressured job. Yuk yuk yuk as my littlest grandson would say.

Carry on getting stronger every day. This is a strange old journey. Let’s hope the destination is lovely. 🌸

It's good you're starting to feel better. Take care in the hot weather and let us know how it goes if you decide to reduce.

France! We're having another mini heatwave. Thankfully the nights are cooler. Had breakfast (unusual for me) sitting in the cool shade with a good John Grisham book. Life feels good :)

So pleased you are feeling better. I’ve got a John Grisham book to read in the shade too!, I haven’t reached your stage yet but am I right in thinking that you are increasing your magnesium level to help cope with the anxiety or have I got the wrong end of the stick? X

Thank you.

No, not wrong end of the stick. I have shared the YouTube somewhere talking about increasing Mg for helping with the adrenal issue (and other issues).

Here it is again youtu.be/oZYXBYAHhN8

My book was The Associate, I really enjoyed it. Book before was The Appeal, also enjoyed and now reading Ford County which is a series of short light hearted, comical short stories. Very odd reading this genre from John Grisham.

More hot days to come, I prefer Autumn.

Video so interesting and passed it on to my daughter who has been having some heart problems. I am reading The Racketeer. Must admit not my fav author. I prefer David Baldacci . Yes I like autumn especially since having PMRGCA. Don’t cope with the heat as well as I used to. X

The most effective "drug" for my atrial fibrillation is a tiny bottle of magnesium in liquid form!

This was an interesting listen. It seemed to make logical sense to me. Thanks for posting.

35C feels like 38C today out there.

Not read The Racketeer....seems like John Grisham has been writing whilst I've not been looking! Have several to read now.

Hope it benefits your daughter.

I had another very good night's sleep, really feel the Mg is the answer.
