Thankyou all for responding to my problem. I have started taking Prednisolone again. When I wrote my first post I wasnt taking prednisolone. The doctor advised me today to do this. He also said seeing the specialist this month was advisable but he couldnt say my leg spasms are connected to this flare up of PMR. What I didnt tell you last October I had a TKR and the spasms appeared to start with that. Anyway Im hoping Prednisolone may make a difference. I shall post here if it does or doesnt. Thanks again to all those that responded to my post

I was having leg spasms mainly foot.I found taking pramipexole has been a big help. Maybe talk to your GP
