One cheek more swollen

Think this has been mentioned before but now I’m on 7mg right cheek looks less swollen and more normal but my left cheek has remained puffy and slightly red. Any ideas?

I too have this, our faces are not symmetrical anyway & l think maybe the Pred Face highlights it more.

I think it can also depend on the light & which way it’s reflecting.

Hopefully it’ll improve as you get lower.

Like Mrs N says lots of skin issues, rashes and inflammation takes longer to reduce on one side rather than the other.

You see it all over your body but it's just more noticeable on your face .

None of us spend too much time looking at our knees or ankles in the mirror.... I don't think!!?

Glad we are all celebrating how very special we are , I think we deserve to xx😘

It's not stupid ....it comes up a lot. My right side was bigger and I wondered what it was. It's almost "normal" now. It comes up more than you would think..glad that you doing ok otherwise!

thanks for flagging this up Rosina1871 ... I was down to 4mg Pred with PMR, but unfortunately in June diagnosed with GCA and currently at 40mg ... recently I too have noticed one side of my face (from the side of my nose down to the chin, almost in a line) much more swollen than the other, it comes and goes every few days ... reassuring to know I'm not alone!
