Following our PMRGCAuk North East group meeting on Tuesday 16th July several people have asked for a link to my rather amusing, interesting, thought-provoking powerpoint of my "A-Z of Life in Remission with Polymyalgia Rheumatica". I can't attach a link to the powerpoint photographs but I've produced the following A-Z list which you may find interesting as you follow your PMR journey. Please remember this is a personal journey but I think my list may hep others on their journey. PMR has actually made me a better person ... more humble, more patient, more understanding of others, developed a different sort of fortitude and resilience. Good luck x

🤔 & 'Living with PMR & GCA' a booklet plus 'You Are Not Alone' a DVD and someone to take a firm hand and spell it out.
Does Nepal know that once again you are up and climbing now your PMR journey is in remission?
Annapurna, here you come in the Autumn - got your sponsorship form out yet?
I think a lot of people have felt they have learnt a lot from PMR and that often it makes them a better person in the ways you mention.
How did you get to the Queen’s Garden Party? I am very impressed.
It's OK but I wouldn’t go overboard as there are a lot of people wanting to be seen ... if you get my drift. This was our second invitation for two entirely different things. In 1999 we were invited to Holywood House Palace for Services to the Shetland community, and in 2014 we went to Buckingham Palace 2014 for my charity work. We enjoyed the more informal approach and (Scottish) friendliness in Edinburgh (I was based in Shetland and Orkney for over 5 years in the Fire and Rescue Service)
I have been invited twice to the Queen's Holyrood Garden Party too, 19 years apart. First as a Brownie Leader, then for Community work & Charity work. Memorable days
