I had a couple of whiz bang days when I double dosed but was at much higher dose. First time i overdid things...washing, gardening, cooking like a mad woman. The next day I couldn't move. Like I say I was at 13mg then so double was whooo hooooo 💃💃🏃

oh good. I did NOT want to be tapering again... but I will not launch the reduction I was considering! I'll just stay another week at 4 and then slowly slowly slowly go to 3.5

Yes I would agree. How's Kasper?

Thanks. He had a bit of a set back after going from 25 mg pred to 0 then all the rash, stomach pain and vomitting came back...(but NOT the blockage thanks goodness) so now is back to 25 mg and so crazy acting for his little self that my daughter worried. I wish I were there. But cannot manage it at this time. (son moving here with baby and wife from AK) .. anyway. He will heal. They are still concerned as kidneys not good yet. BUT he IS home! and rosy cheeked!!! thank you!

Bless him. At least you know what the pred feels like. Fingers crossed onwards and upwards. 🌻

Yup, just go back to where you were tomorrow and see how you feel.

I bet 99% of people who take tablets (any sort) make an error sometimes, none of us are perfect, thank goodness.

A pretty good day is the usual result!! But don't do too much or you will know about it tomorrow. And no - no tapering required.

Hi Bonnie,

I did the same thing a couple weeks ago. Instead of 4 x1mg I took 4x2.5 mg. Yes it was a good day💃!!

Dear dingbatbonnie, yes you remember correctly - your eyes may sparkle annoyingly in the night though.

I have just read your post , hope your day hasn't been too fizzy!!

Back to normal tomorrow .

Although I was expecting that you would have changed your name to "dingbatbonnie" next to your Avatar by now , I'm very disappointed , that is such a cool nickname , you might get stuck with it .😋😂😂😂

Take care x

And I just remembered this was supposed to be a 2 mg day but I took 1.5 instead. Oh well there's always tomorrow....

The other way round I wouldn't worry - hope it is OK!

I'm at the 6 day taper so it really should be all right if this taper is going to work. I go by how I feel in the morning now, as it helps to distinguish PMR from OA. So even though I'm feeling stiff now it's likely a result of activity followed by sitting around too long. I'll know in the morning. ☺ And tomorrow I'm heading home with a couple of hours hanging around Montreal train station so the extra .5 might be good then.
