Went to see my GP yesterday and progress report was good - inflammatory markers normal, bone density normal. I started on 30mg in November last year because I was in such a bad way now thankfully down to 7mg although a couple of illnesses in the last three months set me back a bit. I’ve really tried to heed the advice of the people on this brilliant forum by resting, walking and dieting which has helped enormously. GP wants me to taper to 5mg in next 3 months as a target. I showed him the DSNS spreadsheet that Dorsetlady kindly sent me which he thought was really good. So here we go- wish me luck as I try and push on. So good to be a part of this forum where we can share our journey.

Slow and steady ....it's always better and it's good that DL spreadsheet helped Dr understand you were tapering in line with your needs.
I think I would go for .5mg a month and take it slightly slower to get to 5mg, but you may be fine.
Good luck Mikeysabb!
That's great news! I don't know what we would do without this forum. 👍🌷
Good luck Mikeysaab🍀. One positive this journey has taught many of us is 'patience'... All the best... 🌻
