I had an easy day yesterday so I could muster up the energy to go to my line dancing class last night. It was so much fun I nearly p***d myself. After a few achy niggles his morning and as the sun was shining I went for a walk and thoroughly enjoyed it. Optimism is my word for the day.

Jeezaloo, what I wouldn't give for a stretch of warm, sunny days.

The weather report recently stated that last weekend was the first in 24 weeks that it hadn't rained.

It started again yesterday, and will run through the week.

Don't think we had 24 consecutive weekends of rain - but it rained every 2nd day and every weekend in May and was 2.5C cooler than it should have been! Which is unheard of here!

yeah, it's been cool to cold here, too. I'm still wearing a jacket back and forth to work, and it's mid-June. By now we usually are having the June heat wave!

Now hovering in the upper 20sC (low 80sF) in the afternoons - and a rumour it may head higher next week. And that is at 850m (2800ft). Not so dusty!!!

Great news!

It's definitely worth taking advantage of the good days to take part in activities that you can't manage on the bad ones.

As long as you still pace yourself , take rests and maybe have easy access to the toilet!!😋😂😂😂
