Well, that's interesting. After reading this post I suddenly felt really guilty and thought, I'll try to donate also. But unfortunately I am being told to enter a valid country, etc, etc, something like 3 errors on the page all to do with address. So I gave up.

Cheque not so good from another country - huge fees. At least that's what it was like years ago when I'd send my cousins cheques to buy gifts for their kids.

Have you tried the yellow donate button on the top right of the membership application page?

It takes you to a separate VirginMoneyGiving page where you may be able to donate without the address problems you've been having.

It’s for a donation rather than a membership subscription but I’m sure the money will be welcome anyway whichever it is.
