Some concerns have been expressed recently about the posting of photos of chidren on the forum. This is just a reminder that any photographs you may choose to post on the group are open to anyone to copy for their own uses - this is still a risk even if the post is closed/locked.

It is always best when posting images of children to ensure you have permission from a parent or guardian. Recent news reports have included the use of children's images which had been posted on school websites turning up on a paedophile sharing group. We are sure that most of you are aware of this but one reminder more will never hurt.

This also applies to including emails or other personal information in posts - anyone can join HealthUnlocked. If you want to share such information please do so using the private messaging option.

And if you are contacted in a pm by someone you aren't familiar with from the forum and are worried about it - always report it to HU or a moderator.
