A Chilly Park Walk Worth Every Moment.

Early nurse appointment today. Interesting how these can still stress me up! The predictive mind eh! (white/blue coat syndrome)

OK. She is & had a trainee male nurse alongside observing!

Thankfully it was just blood pressure that was being tested, so no more blood lost there! Beta Blockers working!

Fed the water fowl down the park later. Well the lads & ladies are certainly kicking off there!! Sure sign of Spring!! A few ruffled feathers to say the least! Say no more! Always worth it!

Indoor pot of Narcissus.

I love seeing everyone elses garden and i get to pinch ideas!!

We all do YB! Some of the best & most interesting are the "Yellow Book Gardens"!

Worth a visit & a charitable contribution. Usually some always about locally. ( RHS.)

Will have a look and see what's down here to visit. In our old village some people opened their gardens to visitors. I couldnt do that because you could guarantee just as the visitors arrived my grandson would be digging some hole or rummaging in my compost heap for insects!! He is very useful now pmr has meant not so much gardening and husband cant be trusted to only kill weeds.

in reply toYellowbluebell

I think I'd better stay out of this one YB! Family stuff...........Eh! Lifetime!

Maybe I could get grandson to dig a grandad sized hole!! Just for when he winds me up of course. 😂

in reply toYellowbluebell

He's only a kid & your already thinking working the poor little sod to death digging this hole for his Grandad! Where did it all go wrong YB!..No don't explain!.. Never explain!... It just gets worse!! Trust Me!!

I am.blaming the pred for making me consider burying husband in the garden, mind you last year he did declare war on all weeds and dug up all the onions and threw them on the compost heap!!

in reply toYellowbluebell

Not good tolerance of onions these days! (Diverticular)! I'm with your guy on this one! Also the small ornamental ones spread everywhere!

Sometimes you never know why people moved house! Tales of people torching the Japanese Knotweed! Never yet one of a buried spouse discovered locally! So far!(Surprisingly!) ATB

I like to be different and love rocking the boat. Wouldn't have minded the onions going but he planted them!! Luckiky we dont have the ornamental sort. The only thing that is likely to take over the garden is aquilegia which I love but not sure why previous owner planted so much or allowed it to self seed!!

Preferable to the garden full of ground elder I inherited ... They had obviously thought it was just ground cover - I'd just sorted it, despite PMR, when we moved!

Oh definitely prefer my previous owners planting scheme over yours!! You must have been completely shattered after clearing that lot! When we bought the house I hadnt even heard of pmr so I was looking forward to the 100ft garden and had great plans for it. Thst got shot down in flames!!

I used to sit on the lawn and pain the leaves with the thick version of Roundup ...

Pleased your meds are working Pepper, and thankyouforthe lovely photo,it has brightened my day ! There are snowdrops scattered around my garden ,l am waiting for all the bulbs to burst into bloom, there are some primroses out now too.l am hoping to order my greenhouse next week,a landscape gardener is going to set it all up for me after he has repaired the patio. I can’t wait for the warmer weather, the winter is no friend of my PMR.ATBx.

in reply toGrants148

Thanks... That greenhouse is really something to look forward to Grants. Start of a new adventure & no hard physical stuff! Wonderful!

No primroses flowering yet, they do get a hammering from the slugs & snails here!

Yes agree, the sunshine helps a lot!

Glad to hear about your BP; mine goes skyhigh in the presence of a white coat and then requires unneeded and unheeded monitering!! Always love your pix of flowers. Outside my window is a view of sleet and snow and I am planning my little garden in my imagination.

Yes the moment auto cuffs start tightening my heart rate &blood pressure goes up!

Don't know where you are but no snow here yet in the midlands uk!

That's great. A garden is made in the imagination & the experiment of it! ATB

Nice to be up and out early at this time of year. So much nature to enjoy!

Yes indeed. Weather looks good for the next week! Central heating does't do my sniffles any good.

Lovely. My blood pressure always goes up at the Rhuemy s office. Never any where else. He always seems to be unhappy with me or says something frightening. Fortunately I only see him twice a year to get my meds refilled.

I was always told to imagine the person in the buff (Male or female) if I felt intimidated by them but had to stop doing that when I got the giggles!!

in reply toYellowbluebell

Must say had a different perspective on that one! There's that fantasy world rocking still on!
