Hi,
This is the forum for PMR and GCA. Does your daughter have either of those illnesses?
We cannot answer questions about specific doctors - am presuming you are in UK as you say A&E, so any problems should be directed at the hospital - if you look on their site you should find details of how to complain.
fair play im new to this just trying to under stand how thinks work and will take your advise thank you . p.s her dr told us today there could be a risk of sepsis .so i hope you under stand where im at sorry again did not mean to upset any one
I hope you get some satisfactory answers and your daughter the correct treatment. But the hospital is the place to seek help and once things are sorted there and your daughter is on the mend you should be able to find advice how to make a formal complaint. I don't think you upset any of us but we are anxious you find the right place to get what is needed as there's really nothing we can do. I hope your daughter gets well quickly.
You haven’t upset anyone, and I can fully understand your anxiety, but we are patients not medically trained so can really only answer question on the illnesses we have.
Plus if you have a problem with a specific doctor or hospital please contact PALS (Patients Liaison Services) at your local hospital.
Do hope your daughter's situation improves very soon.
My understanding is that high dose intravenous vitamin C can have dramatic results with regard to sepsis which is a terrible thing - you should speak to the doctors about this as it is not routinely offered even though it is not expensive. If you search online you should find positive references to this. Best wishes to you
Hi, sorry your daughter is sick. My Sister had sepsis and it is nothing to mess around with. I understand your concern and she is blessed to have someone looking out for her. Hopefully She gets the help she needs quickly. Take care
Although you have come onto the wrong forum regarding your concerns there should be a PALS office in the hospital, who are there to hear any concerns or complaints regarding your daughter's treatment. That might be a plac to start. Good luck and I hope your daughter is soon well again.
