Thanks bunnymom, l hope you manage your reduction without any problems.l was hoping to do the same but feel a bit unsettled at the moment with my PMR and do not want to risk another flare. Wishing you a happy and healthy new year xx.

I'm not at the point of reduction, except of weight. That re-gained over the holidays and a bit. Oh those carbs, they are insidious. Actually, there is a need to increase the pred, better to control....but that is another story. My resolution: to be brave enough to tell my story here, in full. But back to your message, wishing you, Bunnymom, and all assorted a smooth and reasonable reduction plan in 2019!

I hear ya regarding holiday carb consumption.....yikes!!

I was/am a bit hesitant to share my story (marijuana consuming sex educator), but pleased not be shunned by this wonderful group of PMR/GCA sufferers. When you’re ready, I’d be honoured to hear your story. Send me an individual message if that’s easier.

Either way, we are glad you’ve joined us! Happy New Year!

Thank you for your kind thoughts. A fear of being shunned, of not belonging, is part of it, but it will wait. You enjoy your time time now, I'll get around to being brave. Happy New Year!

Thank you for that kindness. Get well, a cough is not a good proposition. X

Yep. Slow climb downwards resumes tomorrow. Good luck to everyone else on the same path.

A Very Fine Sentiment, I second that one!

I have to get over this cough/cold before l think about reducing that’s for sure. And, to New, Good, Doctors 🥂🍀

Amen to good drs. 3 rheumies in 4 yrs, never even asked me to make another appointment! Not that I want one - ever! I’m perfectly content with this forum and an endless supply of pred. Haha!

Beat you, 4 rheumies in four years and six GPs. I have given up rheumies as my New Year’s resolution.
