Vit-K2-MK7 is the best one, can also take just Vit-K2. But the MK7 add is considered the best. Vit-K1 = no.

Can always put in a search on the internet.

There isn't a '3' - might be confusing with Vit-D3 ?

Thanks

Any pharmacy, alternative supplements etc etc will sell. Just a heads up : do not buy from Amazon - ingredients are not always from secure provenance, also, labels are sometimes faked. Check the labels for adjuvants - there is a lot of dross out there. Solgar is a reasonable company, but even there it is best to check.

All a bit of a mine field. Nuisance.

Again, best K2 is the K2-MK7. Go well.

Just to add it is very expensive so look out for any discount (unlikely) but when Holland& Barrett have offers on you might be lucky.

Have to agree, mine cost £16 or £17 from Holland and Barret, its in a spray bottle. So yes. Expensive.

Does vitamin K2 and supplementation still have a role in clinical nutrition? I think so. There are trials underway looking to see if vitamin K2 can help with a variety of conditions. It may be very important for bone health. There has also been a trial that shows it’s more efficacious than vitamin K1 in raising IGF-1 levels.

What action of Vit K2 are you looking for??...Vit K2 mk7 helps mobilize Ca++ out of vessels into bones... D3+/Ca++/K2 MK7 helps with Osteopenia early in its course ....some evidence that K2MK7 will reduce coronary art. Calcification placque ...MK4 poorly absorbed...not certain that it affords any great benefits beyond poorly documented claims made by those selliing it.

I've recently ordered their osteoguard ultra. Calcium some of which is citrate, not all carbonate, D3, K2 and magnesium. The calcium isn't the full RDA but I do eat a lot of nuts, seed and calcium rich foods so hoping to get all I need. I want to get off Adcal.

I take MK7 for a few years now - along with D3. My dexascan was really good. She said I have the bones of a 30 yr old. I’m in my 60’s. I had PMR and took prednisone for over a year. I also took OTC eye vitamins for my eyes which helped a lot too.
