I do indeed have a huge armful of love my dear. Just sometimes I wish I could have that when I get home too. After a lifetime it is hard not to want Company for yourself. Not being selfish. I adore my whole family and especially my no 1 Grandson who is 5. First one is always special. Xx

Great picture! Grandchildren are adorable and delightful but an adult relationship is different.

As a single woman for the past 5 years, I vacillate between wanting a relationship and enjoying my freedom without having to share anything. PMR has impeded my confidence because I feel I don’t want to explain waking up before 5 to take Pred, being a couch potato by 3:00 pm, pj’s at 4:30 and the symptoms of Pred head. Thinning hair and skin also add to the equation. Beauty fades! My girlfriend thinks I’m simply a serial dater enjoying the process.

I am open to possibilities, still looking for the “right” one!

For now, self care, family, a few friends, my charity work and exploring new activities in recent retirement are enough.
