Eventually I listened the nurse practioner at the doctors who told me nor to use soap anywhere near the area in question AND IT WORKed not to brag too much about it but I havent had one since

Well done, the docs mostly learn from text books the nurses from experience. Pleased you sorted it in the end UTI’s are no fun at all, keep on upwards and good luck.

Shhhh! Long may it last!!! Pleased to hear it.
Soaps, perfumes or any other cleansing products besides water have no business anywhere near that area! It keeps itself clean when not interfered with. Advertising rubbish has a lot to answer for!
Top tip. Thanks.

Unfortunately did NOT work for me. I never use soep or anything like that in that area. I think I'm just on to a loser with UTIs. Now on a preventer dose antibiotic for three months or so to let things heal up a bit. Even that is no guarantee. Great it works for you. Every little helps!!
