Bad caugh

i have a bad cough from i went down to 3mg and i can not get clear of it .Ihave been to doctor give me antibiotic no good .i am waiting for my new glasses so i am not on here much as i can not see good .Ballyboy.

Have you had an X Ray? Everything we catch seems to linger so long.

Definitely ask for a chest x-ray - just in case.

As others have said get a chest x-ray - I've had a cough since going on pred (2014) but it has improved the lower I've got. I've always had crackles, fluid on the lung, since starting this journey, which as a non-smoker has always bugged me - the cough comes and goes as it pleases. Antibiotics won't help if no infection - if you can get it try something called Pholcodine - sugar free - (otc now they won't prescribe) it's a cough linctus with codine which is good for coughs, it does work but only use for two weeks at a time - if it continues then back to the docs. ATB.
