I have just had my MRI Scan results and I have got 3 fractures IN MY lumber spine, do you think this is as bad as it sounds and will they get worse. My doctor keeps telling me to take bisphonate but I don't like them.

I am taking the pill you are going on about and I’m not happy taking it I wonder if there’s anyone who can say if it helps or not

We take these pills and halve the time we don’t know what we are taking and if they are doing anything

Oh dear wrong way to start a morning off

You take care

I also have 3 fractures and spinal stenosis so if you find a miracle cure please let me know it would be lovely to walk

I have decided to take an Osteoporosis pill called Raloxafine (Evista) it is an oestrogen type pill for my bones. All the Best. Beryl

There are some doctors now that prescribe Estrogen for osteoporosis for post menopausal women as the first choice.. if you're lucky enough to find a modern doctor!

Thank you for that. I am hoping to get some. I have had trouble with my muscles ceasing up in my lower spine area causing a lot of pain and problems with bowels.

I’m so glad everything went ok take care

What a great idea! I did a Google search and it looks like "Plymouth Spinal Services," @ Derriford Hospital/Plymouth University... had a program specifically for patients with spinal stenosis. (Not sure how long ago, though... ) Maybe you could contact them and see if they have/host/know about a patient forum or group?

Much the same as us here - helicopters go over at least once a day and in the high tourist season several times a day! And we are just one of 4 hospitals in the region!

COOL! Good luck!
