Today or not today

Well interesting day today, had Dentist appointment at 2pm so arranged cover at the cattery. Drove to Winchester, parked up at bottom of town, as it’s the only place that’s good to park. Good 15 mins walk to Dentist, but as I have to pass lots of shops cos can’t resist going in, it takes a little longer. Plus it’s all up hill. Well finally arrive at said Dentist only to be told, your appointment is tomorrow!!

Yet I checked my phone plus they send me a reminder, all of which are correct. Except my brain!! It was fixated on today. Grrr.

Does anyone else have this problem? X

Ground hog day tomorrow ha ha xx

On Mondays I work from home and I forgot yesterday was a bank holiday! 😂 (But to be fair, bank hols aren't recognised so much in Scotland.)

Even Sky News pointed out it wasn't a BH in Scotland...

How very sensible! But I was making the point that even they registered that Scotland is different - even though they are totally London-centric...

I'm in Nairn. I was at a PMRGCAuk meeting in Inverness today. It was interesting to meet other people!

Yes! Sent my cousin a birthday card a month early and I had dashed out to buy and post it to get there on time. Her birthday is clearly in my diary for the correct date. Also I had to call optician to check that my appointment was on a Friday - which I had also written down - but my malfunctioning brain was convinced it was a day earlier.

Hi 9lives

I took my usual walk with the dog this morning around the lake in my local park. It wasn't until i was near back to the car i realised i had my tee shirt on inside out !!! Goodness knows what everyone i said good morning to thought. Could PMR or Prednisolone but more likely my age !!!

I took a bank deposit in once and when teller opened it it was full of bits and pieces of paper I had used as scratch paper. My brain can also lock on a date and be almost obsessive about it. It is better at lower doses but just when I think I'm well I'll do some small something and see I'm really not. I miss my brain 😒

I know the feeling well ,some days are more’foggy’ than others,l am always having to think’what day is it today’ and often forget to put the bins out when they are due to be emptied,l only realise it when l hear the lorry outside and it is too late then to get them out in time.l hope that you enjoyed your shopping trip,it is good to treat yourself whenever you can.lforgot my PIN number once and my card was locked in the machine,l had to go into the bank to be given a new one! I felt very confused that day ! xx.
