Yesterday No 1 son helped No 2 son move house, including a large american style fridge freezer. These things are HEAVY! When he got home he was complaining that his arms ached and perhaps he'd over done it.
At lunch I found him trying to eat a yoghurt, it was dripping all over the table because his hands and forearms ached so much he could not control his spoon.
He has always been supportive, he says just seing me trying to walk sometimes is painful enough. Now he has another perspective. " Is this what PMR feels like? It's a wonder you ever get out of bed!"

It's always heartwarmimg to hear someone who really gets it, although it's too bad they have to go through suffering to really understand. My son has always been supportive, but one day a few months ago when he'd been suffering with bad back and feeling fatigued and generally out of sorts he said he thought he had a much better idea what I'd been going through....
