Me and my shadow catching some VitD rays on the beach. Shadow’s not as tall as me, so we were in the zone ☀️
Today is day 4 of 10mg (after the sickening sevens) and I feel much better. I walked 2.5 miles today, to the chemist to collect my pred, then down to the beach to have a peek at the filming of ‘Portrait Artist of the Year’ for Sky TV. It’s a programme I’ve watched for the past 2 years. They certainly had a great day weather wise, no stormy skies for painting here, just clear blue. The artwork was...eclectic, shall we say? Watercolours, pencils, oils, even one lady trying printing which I’ve not seen before. There were ten ‘pods’ for contestants, and around 50 others across the beach playing the wild card, one of those will win a place in the main competition.
Then a coffee courtesy of my son at the beach cafe where he’s spending the summer (when he’s not working in the Chunnel) before going to Uni again for teacher training. Oh to be young and have such energy!
And back home to the garden which is bathed in sunshine, and Herman the herring gull awaits his next meal.
Housework? Naaah! It’ll still be there tomorrow.
