Heres a picture of the wrist swell up. After the surge the veins do go down

My veins look like that all the time, have done so since early days on pred, three years and counting.

Oh my. Do yours ever go down? Mine do after the surge. I can't even have my blood pressure taken because of the inner pressure. I was afraid to fly because of plane pressure. Has flying affected you

Don't think mine is caused by blood pressure. Mine has never been at a dangerous level although it was a little higher than usual for a while. Seems okay now. I have no idea why my veins look so alarming, but was told not to worry about it. Suppose they will always be like this from now on. I don't experience the surges you have described. Strange, isn't it?

When I did an internet search about this condition it turned up the fact that body builders actually seek this effect as it shows they have created perfect muscles! 😆🤣

My veins tend to look like that in hot weather, or when I am feeling over-heated.

My veins look like this since Pred, especially if it’s hot, if I’ve had caffeine or I’m having a hot flush (hormonal).

You’re lucky, my veins (which are a lot worse than yours)😡 don’t go down ever. However, as I am coming up to 79 can’t expect much improvement. They appeared a couple of years ago when I lost a lot of weight.
