Spoke to the Pharmacist and he gave me Calcium tablets combined with Vitamin D. Hopefully that combined with calcium rich food that is also not fattening will stave off more bone loss.

I hope that you get on with the Calcium and vit D supplements better than I did. I got real bladder irritation from the gritty nature of Calcium. At present I am only taking a prescribed vit D. I was so prone to UTI’s.

Your new home is just perfect. It could have been British, classical style until this one. Lovely! Keep in touch!

I have to reread her posts on the subject. At this stage I am not taking any vitamins. Maybe I had better do that.

Hi Cheshire, it is recommended that your doctor should give you vit D with calcium when they give you pred.
