My first attempt to post a photo. We visited this fairytale castle when in The Netherlands a few weeks ago.

In Rotterdam there's a modern tower with a conical top - they cal it the Pencil!

We really enjoyed our visit there. Like many of the other places we visited there were lots of stairs to navigate, and standing a lot, but somehow I managed to get through the holiday without difficulty. I think I appreciated not having to cook or clean and being entertained and engaged both mentally and socially most of my waking hours!

It does us good to get away and have a change of surroundings and company

I know when I go away I feel completely different .

It is indeed a fairytale castle. Well done for your first photo From everything you have posted I would say that mental stimulation is very important to you and your recovery. There might have been lots of stairs but getting your food sorted and exploring buildings and art/paintings that are salve for the soul is great. Hopefully when my neice and nephews who live in the Netherlands get older I can convince them to go to galleries. They are under 12 but the middle boy identifed the artist on my phone case and is a renaissance man so fingers crossed. 👸

But what you See here is no river but only water to protect against invaders. Just pull up the bridge in case of unwanted visitors.

Yes you are right, we have much more water than soil. In a few decades we will all live on boats 🐟glad you liked visiting the Netherlands
