Still Working on reducing Working!! Fantasy!

Second time I've mowed the lawn this week! As you see from the stripes I'm beginning to waver! It's still there! The madness of dealing with this illness. I can't do what I did before. So get over it you big tit I tell myself. Sit on your arse & contemplate the world & wait till it burns out! What! The world or GCA the head bites back. It's a Pepperdog office day again! Wonderful thanks to this connection. Ta.

That your country pile? Apart from the work and the lawn- jealous...

Alas a fantasy. Our lawn seems that size now though. It's "Hergest Croft". Beautiful garden well worth a visit. Just think of all the work maintaining these places. Think I'm well out of it!

I know - my mother was insistent she wanted a garden when she moved to Scotland. It took some doing a few years later to get her to consider that she simply couldn't manage the house and garden she chose any longer. It would have been so much simpler if she'd gone straight to the flat. I knew that when we looked for a retirement place it was to be one without a garden! Or maintenance included...

PS - do you live in that neck of the woods? Something at the back of my mind says my father may have worked there sometime in the Middle Ages...

He must have had along life PMRpro. Viagra wasn't invented then either! But the fantasy persists!

Which reminds me: I was just looking up 10mg gastro resistant pred which someone said was available (don't think it is) and one of the links offered was

"Buy Prednisolone 5mg Tabs - Enhance Your Sexual Performance Today"

Wonderful stuff - cheaper than botox for wrinkles and has added extras it seems!

in reply to PMRpro

Any enhancement really? Blimey I thought It's Spring & what's left of my body clock. Can't say too much I may be banned from walking on my own!! Well that may be another plus for pred apart from pain relief. Think the fantasy rolls on!

That’s a beautiful property. Did you really do that lawn work?

in reply to Leeleep

No Leeleep it is a fantasy. Just saying that's how it seems mowing our own small lawn. But I have mowed big lawns in the past. It is a beautiful house & garden & well worth a visit.
