I have had all that you are having now, but am quite fit now 3 years later, start with change of diet google all herbs that reduce inflammation and food too,
then if you have any stress in your life get rid of it that is very important, really look after yourself and i mean look after together with plenty of sleep I take you are on steroids ? so do look after your bones, and do be careful you do not get embolisms too,.
it takes a while to get back to some sort of life but you will do it. google all your medication as your poor docs do not have the time start taking charge of your meds. good look ,and do have plenty of patience,.

Thank you for the most positive saement I have read. W are the same age and I was diagnosed with PMR in Jan 2018. I feel extremely well at the moment and am just about back to the fitness I was before. My pred is being reduced after being increased a few weeks ago because I got jaw ache and vision probs. The jaw ache has gone and I still seem to be fit. The pred makes me feel so energetic and hyped. I am hoping for a six month cure as was told COULD happen by the rheumatologist think I may be disappointed but can live with that.
Good luck to you and I hope you stay fit. Would be great if some of those who have got better would come back to the forum and let us know
