Yes and for me too. Waking at 3.50am drenched in sweat is a sure sign my PMR is active/ not controlled. Best wishes x

I have an intolerance of humid and hot Weather, sweat just rolls off me,even during winter.lt does seem to be part of PMR,l have not noticed a flare each time afterwards, just as well as l would really be in a lot of pain.l do sympathise with you,l hope you feel better soon.

Yes! I’m so heat intolerant with PMR! I’m a sweat machine now.

Fool me once... shame on you! Fool me twice shame on me.

I fall for it every time.

Starting to wake in the early morning with sweats is a sure fire signal that I am starting a flare. Sometimes when they happen at a new lower dose and I immediately go back to the previous one I don't go into a flare. No proof - but circumstantial evidence isn't always wrong!

Well bad nightsweats were always a big problem for me before diagnosis. Then as I reduced the pred they came back big time. So I would say be careful and don't ignore them!

so glad I saw this post. I have always had a hard time with the heat, even in winter.

Last winter, since on prednisone, I was chilled all winter and I loved it. Now I have started the sweats again. Still on same amt. of prednisone. Never thought of it being the beginning of a flare until this morning. This was a crying morning. Things were looking up over the past week and now this. Can't hardly move. I will up the pred. a little and see if it helps

Thanks again

Have the most pain free day possible

Surprisingly for me too, as of lately. I was never used to sweats.

I see you were on 3 mgs when the sweats started. This is also a symptom of sluggish adrenals.
