Being brave

Biting the bullet and going to spend time with my grandchildren tomorrow. I miss them too much and willing to take the risk. Silly or not. Life is too short. The way I feel at the moment ?. Absolutely exhausted. Why?I have gone from 5mgs to 10mgs. With lots of things that are happening around me in life. Going back down to 9mgs on Monday. Doctor says it is what I am going through at the moment with a divorce; house on Market , abd an appeal with SA

Shouldn’t you feel better going from 5 mgs to 10? I teach kindergarten and when I flare up I take it real slow with the kids. I don’t know how old the grandkids are but if they are old enough, tell them you are hurt and they need to be careful. Sit down and have them come to you. Read a book together share a meal etc. I hope you will not be alone with them. Good luck and enjoy!

They are 4 and 10months. The oldest has chicken pox, hence haven't seen them for a week or so. They always make me feel better, tired but better.

Hello morrison, enjoy your time with your wonderful Grandchildren. It is the Best tonic In the world . I am doing exactly the same today .A visit to my youngest Grandaughter. I'm looking forward to it even though l will have to grit my teeth with pain to go but it will be worth the effort just to get out of the house . Best wishes trish 29

Maybe that wise 4-year old will understand that you two mustn't get too close for comfort?

Have a lovely day, all the same. x

So sorry about all you are dealing with!! Go see the grandchildren...but don’t do too much...act as if you have the flu, so you have to sit! I would take the extra prednisone just to deal with the divorce, house sale, etc.....no value in suffering thru the physical pain, added to the emotional pain💐

Oh I am right with you. See the grandchildren. One of mine is 4 she is always thoughtful of my 'problems'.

Re the chickenpox,it is only a problem if you have never had it. You can't 'catch' shingles.

I think you need all the great things you can get with the other things you are dealing with. x
