In my defence, I travelled by train to Bath, railworks at Bristol. An hours wait for a coach, lifted an elderly lady ( tiny) on to the coach as she couldn’t get her legs up the high step, an hour driving through rush hour traffic to Bath. A pretentious but delicious meal there with ( needed) wine. Sums, is not the only thing to go, but it’s a change. I love Bath.

Still having it - it’s 4th Feb/4th April.

Karools16 is just ahead of us timewise, so it’s a bit confusing at times depending on what time of day people post. I found that when I was in NZ -even more ahead. I was answering posts before they’d been written - work that out! No don’t!

These time differences make my brain hurt. We’ve gone an hour ahead, Australia’s gone an hour ahead I think. Now my family are 9 hours ahead of the U.K. it is almost impossible to find a good time to speak. People are in a different head space first thing in the morning and late at night. It drives me crazy, but I do get to see the children having breakfast to the sound of Australian birds, on my way to bed.

Mine's rubbish, but born on the Cusp of the month (awkward as usual) neither fits.

Govt - snap but only 24 years. I was paid for most of those years to 'knock seven bells out of my employer and I was on equal pay all those years ago. Loved every minute, left and went to another field and had a great time, still knocking out seven bells. Retired and stopped knocking 'seven bells' for 9 years, GCA came along and back to the knocking.

Would not change a thing not even the GCA............and you can believe I mean that in the best sort of way, I met people whom I would never have come across and some of them enriched my life.

Having 'Open House' later this month and meeting up with people I have not seen for 40 years, I can't wait and fingers crossed for a sunny day.
