Last Monday I went to my doctor about my hands which are stiff in the morning and or all day. My doctor did not know about this problem and thought I was just moaning.
On Tuesday I found this site and at last I am not alone, it's not just me.
A big thank you to all, I may not have this a bad as a lot or you, but it's nice to know you are there.

Glad you educated him/her. It seems to be more common than drs, including rheumies, think. My hands and feet have definitely been effected.
I've been trying to find a post I sent on this subject last summer, but no joy!
Basically, I suddenly found myself with real hand problems for the first time in two and a half years of PMR, when trying to taper down to 4.5mg. PMRpro suggested it was what I think she called a low pred level type flare, and recommended I increased by a couple of mgs until it settled, and then taper down again. This worked a treat..
I hadn't realised at the time that PMR could affect the hands.
