Holland and Barrett have a half price deal on Tumeric supplements. I thought it might interest some of the advocates on here. ( Taken to reduce inflammation).

Thanks Jane. Can it be taken with all other Meds such as folic acid and adcal etc.,?

I would think so. There have been discussions on it here before, you could probably find them. We have it in cooking.

Thanks Jane. Yes, we do take turmeric tablets in our household. I'll be in H&B next week to take advantage of their offer.

Just as an FYI - I was told by a Nutritionist, "Re: the turmeric, you want to find a supplement in the UK that contains a minimum of 400mg of Curcuminoid, which is the active ingredient in turmeric. It's the curcuminoids that are known for the anti-inflammatory properties. The one I use (Mannatech) is not available in the UK. It's only available in the US or South Africa. It contains other things which are equally important in managing down the immune response, like Resveratrol and Protelytic Enzyme which mops up the naughty proteins which are the buy product of inflammation. If you know someone in the US, you could open an account there and have it sent over or you could look for another brand in the UK."

Wow! Useful. I’m a novice at this stuff. It just makes sense to me Homoeopathically something that can cause burning will help burning in small quantities.
