Hi. Been suffering for over 4 years now, initial diagnosis for neck , shoulder pain and fatigue was PMR, 3 years later after seeing consultant not he states after blood tests and Xray its not PMR but another rhemitism and keen to get me off Steriods, now on 5mg pred.
Pain in shoulders still thier but now worse in hands and wrists especially RHS where everyday things like lifting a kettle to make a cup of tea is at best uncomfortable.
In desperation I looked for something differant , I came across Tumeric and black pepper, ordered and just started taking.
Has anybody else used T&P, and found any releaf. Carl x

I've been taking it for a couple of months, don't know that I've noticed much difference really but my husband, who had been complaining of stiffness etc (doesn't have PMR) has found a great relief taking it. Hope it works for you too
There are contraindications to taking turmeric - if you are on blood thinners for example as it is a natural blood thinner and also in combination with pred it may cause worse bruising.
I do know several who found using it in cooking made a difference and they could tolerate that but others found the high doses in supplements cause gastric problems.
