I'm not close to finding out yet, I'm still at 13mg, but I was wondering, once I get down around 7 or below, would it be beneficial to start taking one of the Adrenal support supplements?? There are a lot out there including ways to help it along with different foods..

There is no evidence that they make the slightest difference. The cause of the problem is not one that supplements could solve.
If that kind of positive thinking and preparation helps you, then go ahead!
Hi daworm, I think you may find that you are just boosting up the bank balances of the suppliers.
There's also probabaly not been any studies on it....I'm not afraid to try supplements, I've used astragalus for years during the winters and have stayed cold and flu free for years while everyone around me got ill..and my wife did daycare with a bunch of runny noses kids..just lucky? Maybe..
I think you will find quite a few studies have been done. This review

looked at nearly three and a half thousand articles. Not many were of particularly good quality though and on the basis of the good ones they came to the conclusion - adrenal fatigue as often presented in the media isn't real.
This

is a bit easier to read perhaps - and distinguishes between adrenal fatigue (a fake disease) and adrenal insufficiency (real and treatable) in quite simple terms

This is an interesting read..it's a persons own choice to research and decide, I'm for sure not advocating anything for another person...but I read enough on here that even the all knowing "rheumy's" seem to have a closed mind on a lot of things...

I've always thought this a sensible site. I note it suggests the things adrenals need for health are exactly what the rest of the body needs, so no magic bullet, just very good advice!
That has been quoted on here before (by me at least once)- but if you read it carefully you will see it doesn't really suggest supplements - it tells you to get what you need from a good diet. Not least - by the way, given another thread this week - including animal fat as essential for the process.
a good diet and natural foods is always best...I agree that without a lot of your own research taking supplements willy-nilly is a poor practice at best...RESEARCH!! In no way would I ever tell anyone else to follow what I choose to do...what works for me may well be a disaster for another....but I also don't blindly follow the world of big Pharma and stubborn doctors...
